I had hoped to get another post off last week, but work plus the holiday mitigated against that. But there will be a long one this week — it’s basically ready to go. We spent the Thanksgiving holiday with some friends of ours, who had adopted a (very large) Poodle mix (Ollie) since the last time we had visited. We took Lyndon along, not sure how our almost-12-thinks-he-is-bigger-than-he-is dog would do with a 2-year-old-giant dog, but they got along very well (thanks to the other dog being willing to let Lyndon be “the bigger dog”).

Lyndon and Ollie — a size comparison. Like all true puppies, Ollie never stops moving.
Lyndon gives Ollie his classic side-eye, while Ollie eats his own leg.

Ollie’s size, coupled with his uncannily human-looking eyes and muppet-like hair, sometimes gives the impression that he is a small person dressed up in a dog suit. But he was pretty decent, as far as puppies go, and in his defense he only got into the turkey carcass because it was left out in a place that was accessible to him and can you blame him, he is only 2?

A classic Lyndon pose from earlier in the week, at my office. He looks so dainty when he crosses his feets.

Anyway, here’s hoping a slew of dog pictures is actually what you wanted from this blog, because that’s mostly what I’ve got for you today!
