One would think that the end of classes would mean a regaining of some time but… that is not how it worked out last week, as any time regained from teaching was eaten up in bits and pieces from various meetings. I am looking forward to faking my own death over the holidays just so I can get a little bit of much-needed work finished.

I was able, finally, to get a post on Doomsday Machines about stockpile data which I was pleased with: “Exponential stockpiles.” I have given several talks over the years about stockpile data, and had been going over these numbers once again for the purposes of the final lecture for my nuclear history class, so I was in a good place to pull it together. Next week I will have something nuclear-culture related.
