This is a very brief wrap-up (if you want more, I wrote a lot last week that you might have missed), as it has been a busy week, but not in ways that translate well into an update (teaching, working on my book, faculty meeting, etc.).

In case you missed it, on Doomsday Machines I posted about an interesting study about how Americans in three cities reacted to nuclear false alarms in the late 1950s: The Occasion Instant, 1961. This week my plan is to post something short about an interesting end-of-the-world song, and something about the Oregon Road ‘83 game.
